Journal with Me

Writer's picture: Destiny McCamantDestiny McCamant

So, we set up a nothing journal in one of my previous videos. I thought I would do a fully complete journal page in that journal, to show how no pressure these are. It felt like I was able to let my mind wander for 30 mins while I just created, with no rules, and no expectations of this being "the greatest thing since sliced bread". I felt so free and uninhibited that I just created. All of this was intuitive. If it felt right at the moment, then that’s what I did.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this page. So much so, I am wanting to take the concept and make a larger painting from it. All because I let myself go, and just play and do what felt right, With nothing saying it has to be perfect and knowing it probably wouldn’t be, and THAT WOULD BE OK! Instead, I was floored at how much I love this, and had such an amazing time making it.
